Music Monday: For Your Entertaiment by Adam Lambert

A is for both August and Adam Lambert.  The American Idol alum is definitely a unique artist who captivated the world for his flamboyance and powerful vocals.  I love him for his uniqueness and remaining true to himself and the artist that he is.

Check out Adam's first studio album, For Your Entertainment released in late 2009:

1. MUSIC AGAIN
2. FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT
3. WHATAYA WANT FROM ME
4. STRUT
5. SOAKED
6. SURE FIRE WINNERS
7. A LOADED SMILE
8, IF I HAD YOU
9. PICK U UP
11. SLEEPWALKER
12. AFTERMATH
13. BROKEN OPEN
14. TIME FOR MIRACLES

It's interesting to note the collaboration with different artists such as Matt Bellamy of Muse (Soaked), Pink (Whataya Want From Me), Kara DioGuardi (Strut), and Lady Gaga (Fever)!  It's an eclectic mix of music that is sure to pump you up and twist you inside out.

We all know the infamous For Your Entertainment, but don't let whatever first impression it has on you make up your idea of the song because it's fab!  And there's also the inspiring last track, Time for Miracles, which can evoke feeling of hope or something like that.  I love hearing Soaked because you can hear the power of Adam's vocal.  Matt B's touch is eminent and fits perfectly to the vocal range of Adam.

My sure favorites are Sleepwalker, which I found perfect for that lovey-feeling you can't understand.  I even included this is my TMI fanmix.  Then there's also the track, If I Had You.  Remember the Unseelie Court-like party?  Perfect track for that.  The angsty, Whatya Want From Me that I love to sing along with.  And of course Fever to unleash that confident (diva?) persona inside you.

My ultimate wish is to see Adam to perform at a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.  That would be awesome!  The angels wouldn't know what hit them! And if Lady Gaga could perform with him too I'm sure the angels would fall!

I adore Adam. I think my favorite is Broken Open. He sounds so angelic in that song! I also love Music Again and FYE. :)
