"Eight years after Graceling, Bitterblue is now queen of Monsea. But the influence of her father, a violent psychopath with mind-altering abilities, lives on. Her advisors, who have run things since Leck died, believe in a forward-thinking plan: Pardon all who committed terrible acts under Leck’s reign, and forget anything bad ever happened. But when Bitterblue begins sneaking outside the castle—disguised and alone—to walk the streets of her own city, she starts realizing that the kingdom has been under the thirty-five-year spell of a madman, and the only way to move forward is to revisit the past.
Two thieves, who only steal what has already been stolen, change her life forever. They hold a key to the truth of Leck’s reign. And one of them, with an extreme skill called a Grace that he hasn’t yet identified, holds a key to her heart."

I love high-fantasy books. I love the maps, the kingdoms, the conflicts, and everything else you can throw in. Graceling was one of the few books that I've read when I began blogging and it was amazing. Fire was a different sort of good. I don't mind waiting for something I know that will be good as Kristin's writing.
Penguin shared two maps in the book: the map for Bitterblue's city and her castle. I can't wait to read the book and use the maps. I love maps! I love reading then checking the maps. Have I mentioned I love maps? :p

The book is currently discounted at 25% off for pre-orders in Book Depository. They are also having a 10% discount on top of already discounted prices until May 14. So it's a good time to check out the book! They also carry the first two books in the series!

Len spends most of her time ruminating on her writings that never made it to paper; keeps sane by reading books and listening to music. She reviews most of them out of love and the joy of it.
